Cymphony raises 25 million dollars to manage permissions for employees and AI agents

Israeli cybersecurity company Cymphony raised 25 million dollars in a Series A round co-led by Sequoia Capital and SMBC Fin Atlas Beyond Fund.

The company has raised 30 million dollars in total.

Cymphony develops a platform that aims to map identities, permissions, information and behavior to understand who, or which AI agent, can access systems and sensitive information.

The problem becomes more significant as agents gain the ability to act on employees' behalf.

The round is significant, but without sufficient customer, pricing and performance data, the product should not yet be considered a proven solution to agent security.
