Anthropic published new data as part of its research into AI assisting the development of the next generation of AI systems.
The company is trying to measure how much of its research and development is already led or substantially assisted by Claude.
The figure matters less as a standalone number than as a sign of direction: AI labs are starting to use models not just to build customer products, but also to accelerate work on their next models.
