Anthropic is expanding Compliance API to return transcripts of local Claude sessions in Chrome as well.
The capability is in beta for Claude Enterprise organizations.
Access uses a Compliance Access Key and the read:compliance_user_data permission.
The update mainly concerns organizations allowing browser agents to work inside organizational or customer systems.
When an agent can navigate a browser and perform actions, retaining records for auditing, security and compliance becomes more important.
