Google Vids began receiving Gemini Omni 1.1 Flash for video generation and extension. The update also adds more precise clip duration control and the option to generate or upscale videos to 1080p resolution.
According to Google, rollout takes place gradually over one to three days across Business, Enterprise, Education and some consumer Google AI plans. Usage limits vary by plan, with AI Expanded Access users receiving higher allowances.
The change gives Vids users more control over the result before export and reduces the need to move outputs to a separate tool solely to upscale resolution.
