GitHub made VS Code Agents usage metrics generally available to Business and Enterprise organizations.
Reports can include:
- Daily active users
- Session counts
- Message volume
- User-level activity
The data is separate from metrics for regular code editor usage.
The update aims to help organizations understand how many employees actually use agents rather than just Code Completion or Chat.
