VS Code 1.137 adds scheduled agent tasks in public preview.
Tasks can run:
- Every hour
- Every day
- Every week
- Or on demand.
GitHub also added an experimental Voice Mode that lets users talk to Copilot, interrupt it and redirect it during a development task.
Scheduled Agents brings Copilot closer to an automation system operating even when the developer is not sitting at the code editor.
