GitHub added OpenAI's GPT-6 Sol and GPT-6 Luna to the model list available in GitHub Copilot.
According to GitHub, GPT-6 Sol is available to Copilot Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise subscribers. GPT-6 Luna is also available to Copilot Pro subscribers, alongside higher plans.
The update lets developers use both models within Copilot rather than go directly to OpenAI API. This integrates existing models into GitHub Copilot rather than launching GPT-6 itself anew.
It is also important to distinguish platforms: as of verification, no official AWS announcement of GPT-6 Sol or GPT-6 Luna availability in Amazon Bedrock was found.
