GitHub began adding xAI's Grok 4.7 to GitHub Copilot. The rollout is gradual for Copilot Pro, Pro+, Max, Business and Enterprise subscribers.
According to the announcement, the model is supported in Visual Studio Code, Visual Studio, Copilot CLI, Copilot cloud agent, the GitHub app, JetBrains, Xcode and Eclipse. GitHub.com and GitHub Mobile were not included in the published Grok 4.7 interface list.
Billing uses actual token consumption within GitHub's AI Credits system. Requests with more than 200,000 input tokens are billed at a higher rate.
This is an availability update within Copilot, not a new launch of Grok 4.7 itself. AI24 has already covered the model launch separately.
